PRIVACY POLICY

We at Jim Burke value you as a customer and want to ensure your private information is kept private. We take seriously our responsibility to keep the information you provide to us secure and confidential. This document explains our privacy policy and explains the type of information we collect about you, why and with whom we may share your information. If we do reserve a right to share information with non-affiliated third parties, we allow you the opportunity to "opt-out" of our reservation to share your nonpublic personal information. Please take a moment to read this entire policy - It is your protection!

How We Collect Information

In the course of a purchase of lease of a motor vehicle or service agreement you may be required to provide us with a good deal of nonpublic personal information. For example, if we sell or lease you a vehicle, extending to you credit at your request, we will receive information from you such as your name, address and social security number in order to determine your creditworthiness. We may also obtain information such as your credit and payment history from our affiliates or third parties such as a credit-reporting agency. We may also obtain information from third parties such as employers, references and insurance companies.

Some of the information sought from you may be required by state or federal agencies such as the Department of Motor Vehicles or the Internal Revenue Service. This information may be required even if you were to pay cash for a vehicle. Examples would be a driver's license or social security number. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers and former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

How We May Share Information

Occasionally, we may share information as permitted by federal or state law with companies affiliated with us, including any company that controls us, any company we control, or any company under common control with us.

This sharing of your nonpublic personal information may be for purposes of processing a sale or lease transaction as you request or authorize, such as submitting information to third party financial institutions as necessary to finance your purchase or lease, verify insurance coverage or other such information.

We may disclose some or all of your nonpublic personal information as permitted by law to non-affiliated third parties such as companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to market research firms, direct marketing companies, finance service providers, and other dealerships or institutions with whom we may have joint marketing agreements. Before providing information to these non-affiliated third parties, we enter into agreements prohibiting them from disclosing or using the information other than for the purposes it was disclosed.

How We Protect Your Information

We safeguard nonpublic personal information according to established industry standards and procedures. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with state and federal regulations to protect and guard your nonpublic personal information. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and outside contractors who need to know the information to provide products or service to you. We prohibit employees and agents from giving information about you to anyone in a manner that would violate applicable law or our privacy policy.

Human Rights And Working Conditions

The basis of our work on human rights with suppliers is the Ford Code of Basic Working Conditions. This Code was formally adopted in 2003 and applies to our own operations as well as our $65 billion supply chain. It addresses workplace issues such as working hours, child labor and forced labor as well as non-discrimination, freedom of association, health and safety, the environment and other issues.

Our approach has emphasized building capability throughout the supply chain to manage working conditions effectively. Our primary focus has been on training and education about working conditions issues, in conjunction with assessments of individual suppliers in order to verify performance and progress. We are committed to collaborative action to more effectively influence all levels of the automotive supply chain. Our view is that all participants in the automotive supply chain – from the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Ford, to the suppliers themselves, to the government agencies that set and enforce the regulations governing operations – must be involved to make these efforts sustainable in the long run.
